Who we are
Sunnymede Sundries was born out of a deep appreciation for the purity and tradition of maple.
Spending much of my childhood on a maple farm in Vermont, I became fascinated by the way maple syrup is made—its connection to the land, the rhythm of the seasons, and the patience it demands from those who craft it. It's not just sweet—it's soulful. Inspired by this, I started Sunnymede Sundries: a small-batch line of maple-based pantry goods made with care, curiosity, and respect for real food.
At the heart of Sunnymede Sundries is our line of wholesome pancake mixes, made with non-GMO, heritage grains and gently sweetened with pure maple sugar. Each blend is thoughtfully crafted to taste indulgent while being nourishing—from our gluten-free buckwheat mix to fun, cozy flavors like carrot cake and blueberry cobbler.
I make everything myself in my home kitchen under Virginia’s cottage food law, with a focus on high-quality ingredients, simplicity, and integrity. I believe good food should feel special but never fussy—and that breakfast is one of the best places to slow down and savor.
Thanks for supporting a tiny business with big maple dreams. I’m just getting started, and I can’t wait to share what’s next. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Our Star Ingredients
Maple
Maple is a pure, natural sweetener tapped straight from the tree, rich in minerals and antioxidants. Unlike refined sugars, it contains trace nutrients like manganese and zinc, and has a lower glycemic index. Our maple is sourced from Vermont.
Buckwheat
Despite its name, it's not related to wheat at all, but a naturally gluten-free seed that's packed with nutrients. Rich in fiber, plant-based protein, and essential minerals like magnesium and zinc, it supports heart health and balanced blood sugar.
Einkorn
Einkorn is an ancient grain that’s naturally more nutritious and easier to digest than modern wheat. It’s higher in protein, vitamins, and antioxidants, and lower in gluten, making it gentler on the gut. Plus, einkorn is grown using traditional methods, which means it’s often more sustainable and less processed—great for both your body and the planet.
